Manchester Senior Citizen's Holiday Luncheon

In 2026, I will mark my fifth year volunteering with Manchester’s Senior Citizen Holiday Luncheon—an event that has become a personal favorite. It gives me the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with residents, listening to their stories and learning from the life experience and wisdom they share. I’m always grateful for the chance to simply listen, and I can’t deny that I also enjoy seeing everyone’s wonderful holiday fashion.

This event is a true example of what community collaboration looks like at its best. First Free Church graciously partners with City Administration, the Parks Department, Public Works, area elementary schools, a local florist, a local catering company, and dedicated volunteers to make the luncheon a success year after year.
